Soundgarden, the rock band not heard from since the late 1990′s is back with their first studio album in more than 15 years, King Animal. The band officially reunited back in 2010 and have released this 30 second teaser of the track “Worse Dreams”.
Last season ABC’s soap-procedural Castle ended with the titular character and Detective Beckett finally shacking up, which means this season we’ll have to deal with all the relationship B.S. nobody wants to watch. Castle returns to ABC on Monday September 24th.
I haven’t watched FOX’s crime procedural BONES in several years, so this promo for its upcoming 8th season had some nice surprises. Bones has a baby, blonde hair, and is wanted by the F.B.I. and is on the run. This leaves me asking one question….at what point did this show jump the shark?
Nicki Minaj brings her inappropriately disproportioned body to this music video for “I Am Your Leader” featuring Rick Ross and Cam’ron. It’s basically everything you’ve come to expect from a Nicki Minaj music video, topped off with Minaj reminding us she’s a brand, bitch.
If you dig banjos you’re going to love Mumford & Sons‘ new song “I Will Wait” off their forthcoming album Babel. Compared to the singles off their last song, “I Will Wait” barely keeps pace, but the band has reached an iconic/culture-crossing cult status so it will sell like gangbusters for sure. With that said, the chorus is pretty awesome. Something tells me this is going to be the type of album you have to hear live.
OMG, did you hear we killed Osama Bin Laden? While recent news (aka a Navy Seal breaking his code of honor to make some cash) is disputing the facts surrounding the death of OBL, Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) is bringing us her interpretation of the events in Zero Dark Thirty. The film stars Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, Edgar Ramirez, Kyle Chandler, Mark Strong, Chris Pratt, Jason Clarke and Harold Perrineau and we’ve got the teaser trailer for you right here.
My biggest criticism of this summer’s number 1 movie The Avengers was that there wasn’t enough flashbacks. (kidding). Although the film would have taken a drastically different tone if this alternative beginning, which is now available on the film’s Blu-Ray DVD release, made the final cut.
