Dwight Yoakam’s loss is William Fichtner’s gain.

After Yoakam had to drop out of his “starring” role as the villain in the upcoming Gore Verbinski directed THE LONE RANGER, one of the greatest character actors of his generation, William Fichtner, is stepping into the role of Butch Cavendish.

Shockingly, this will be the first time Fichtner shares the screen with RANGER star Johnny Depp.

In the film, Tonto (Depp) and The Lone Ranger (The Social Network’s Armie Hammer) will be after Cavendish and his group of evil-doers who are robbing and killing their way across the West.
