If you’ve been craving some new Red Hot Chili Peppers with your vinyl collection well get ready for a large serving of 7” singles with a side order of digital.  

In an unusual move by the band— who often take as many as 4 years between albums—they are following up last year’s “I’m With You” by releasing an album’s worth of new material over the coming months.

Bassist Flea tweeted, “yes we have been writing stuff while touring. we are also going to put out 18 new songs over the next 6 months on 7 inch and digi”

Details on how and when the new songs will drop are being worked out.
