In Week 5, NBC went nuts and pre-empted AMERICA’S GOT TALENT for hockey. In turn, AGT showed us a water-skiing squirrel Tuesday night. We’re betting the ratings for the squirrel are higher.
The episode began with the usual introductions, but the content of the episode was extremely heavy on Howard’s comments and jokes. In fact, I don’t recall any previous episode that allowed as many of Howard’s comments to be aired. He must’ve been on his game because he was hilarious. He was definitely more entertaining than some of the disasters presented on the show.
That said, let’s start with this week’s train wrecks…
Although not really a train wreck, this water-skiing squirrel impressed the judges but not enough to continue in the competition.
Even stranger, Big Barry was the worst singer I’ve ever heard, and somehow he got a pass to Vegas.
This “air sexpert” was rightly sent packing. Just a warning… you’ll want to wash your eyes with soap for three hours after watching this. I’m still creeped out.
In the realm of terrific performances, none really hold a candle to these three on the Tuesday show.
Lindsey Norton is an acrobatic dancer, and she’s REALLY excited to be auditioning for AGT.
The Untouchables are a Miami dance group. What makes them special is that the group members range in age from 8 to 13.
The American BMX Team put 10 bikes on a stage nearly a quarter the size they usually use. The stage was smaller, but the performance was huge!
According to the program guide on NBC.com, they will be showing a new episode on Monday and repeats on Tuesday. We’re getting closer to Vegas!
