It was safe to assume Aaron Sorkin’s new television drama The Newsroom would feature, you know, news, but then again, you would have thought Studio 60 would have featured some bits of comedy and that sure as hell happened.

But in this latest trailer you see ACTUAL news events being used in the show. It’s like one of those “near-future” movies except this is a show that happens in the “near-past”.

The Newsroom debuts June 24th on HBO.
