We’ve been waiting and wondering about what happened to good old Merle, Daryl’s presumed-dead brother, and now we can clearly see from the looks of it he’s likely part of The Governor’s gang featured in the upcoming 3rd season of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

It definitely looks like TWD is making a dramatic shift from the first two seasons, which was mostly about a group of apocalyptic survivors. Now, if the graphic novels are any hint, we’re about to delve into the disgusting world of what happens when civilization begins to build itself back up from the ashes of ruin.
