Kimbra, A-Track, and Mark Foster in the music video for Warrior

Watching this video for the first time got me super psyched. An awesome collaboration between A-Track, Mark Foster (of Foster The People), and Kimbra…..and… Converse? Hmm, what a twist ending for such a good video, just throw up a Converse logo. Of course we had to watch the video again, and then I understood. Going into the video for “Warrior” blind you would have no idea that it is a promo for Converse, and I love them for that. Rather than shooting a blatant promo featuring the sneakers, they shot a music video with the sneakers as the “supporting” cast.

This is how you market in the age of the internet. We have some of the hottest new and upcoming artists putting together a fun song and video which is helping all parties. Converse gets to feature their shoes, and throw up their logo, and Kimbra, A-Track, and Mark Foster get even more exposure for their upcoming tours and releases. Everyone is happy and successful. Props to converse for letting these artists do what they do best and making a great song.
