Gary Oldman spoke out on behalf of Actors Against Athletes Acting in this PSA spoof from Jimmy Kimmel Live. He had some harsh but eloquently spoken words about professional athletes who feel they are entitled to movie roles simply because people know who they are. And in case the point wasn’t getting across, Oldman had a Bobby Knight-esque tantrum berating the Hulk Hogans and Howie Longs of the world for sullying the acting profession with their horrible acting and misbegotten confidence.

Sure, it is all in jest (or is it?) However, we must remember that for every  Shaq in Shazaam and Michael Jordan in Space Jam, there’s an Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride and Cam Neely in Dumb and Dumber (kick his ass, Seabass!) Or Kareem Abdul Jabaar in Airplane! OJ Simpson in Naked Gun.
