Better late than never, here’s the Season 5 trailer for Fringe fresh off of Comic Con.

Running just over 3 minutes long, the footage features maybe 20 seconds of new footage. The rest is a creative “mash-up” of last season’s game changing episode “Letters of Transit”.

But for the few Fringe fans remaining, this will be enough to get you excited for the sci-fi drama’s swan song.

Also at Comic Con, John Noble, aka Walter Bishop spoke about the future of the show beyond its television run, saying it is “very possible” a feature length movie could happen. Co-Star Joshua Jackson chimed in saying the show would “live on in some form or another.”.

Personally, I’m not getting my hopes up for a Fringe movie. It’s more likely the show will transition from television to the page, and will hit your local comic book shop in the not to distant future.
