Movies like Bridesmaids and shows like GIRLS are proof that ladies can be just as hilariously raunchy as guys and just as successful at it. So in that grand new tradition, behold the red band trailer for For a Good Time Call.

Like Lena Dunham and GIRLS, For a Good Time is written by the girl who stars in it, Lauren Miller. It’s about two former frenemies (I hate using that term as much as you hate reading it but there really is no other word for it) who wind up living together in order to afford a fabulous Grammercy Park apartment. With the economy stuck in “Suck” mode, Katie (a very hilarious and underrated Ari Graynor) moonlights as a phone sex line operator. Eventually, uptight Lauren decides to get on board and soon they are making tons of cash and having a hilarious time in the process. Hijinx ensue – especially when Lauren’s parents come for a surprise visit and find an array of giant dildos displayed on the coffee table.

Justin Long co-stars, Seth Rogan has a cameo. Also making appearances are Mimi Rogers (Austin Powers), Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim Versus the World). Honestly, the trailer had me laughing out loud numerous times. It’s already premiered (and done well) at Sundance but will be out in theaters August 30^th.
