FIRST LISTEN: Adam Lambert “Better Than I Know Myself”
March 4th, 2012 | Posted by in First Listen | Music“Better Than I Know Myself,” the first single from Adam Lambert’s sophomore album Trespassing is out, and it looks like Lambert may have another hit album on his hands.
The American Idol Season 8 runner up had no problem growing his post Idol audience as his debut album For Your Entertainment went platinum.
“Better Than I Know Myself” starts off with a slower tempo, but warms up with Lambert’s signature high notes. Lambert has a range that singers dream about, and the high production value of the single only amplifies his talent.
While “Better Than I Know Myself” isn’t as catchy as his hit “Whataya Want From Me?,” it’s a nice look into the softer side of Adam Lambert.
Trespassing will feature collaborations with Bruno Mars, Pharrell and funk legend Nile Rodgers, who once produced songs for an up and coming singer named Madonna.
Trespassing will be released on March 20th.
