We already brought you a first look at Daniel Day Lewis during production of Steven Spielberg’s LINCOLN, be it one of Day-Lewis in civilian clothing (aka jeans) grabbing a bite to eat. The image was enough to get historical fanboys excited about the film based loosely on the Doris Kearns Goodwin book Team Of Rivals but now we have the first unofficial image of Day-Lewis on set in full costume, via the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

LINCOLN is due out in late 2012.
