Here’s a mixed bag of news as Catherine Tate will return to The Office next season.

Tate’s character Nelly was barely a footnote on a horrible season of The Office so the news of her return does not signal any move in the right direction. One now has to question how long NBC will drag this show out, or will it finally put it (and us) out of its misery by season’s end.

With the exception of Mindy Kaling, all principle cast members are set to return to The Office next year.
