God I’m so confused about this story.

News broke on April 1st that Ashton Kutcher of DUDE WHERE’S MY CAR fame has been cast as Steve Jobs in the indie biopic JOBS.

The film will reportedly focus on Jobs’ younger days when he was a little more hippish than we all remember the late APPLE co-founder.

I waited a couple of days before writing this because I was really hoping it wasn’t true. Just another shameless April Fools joke. I will admit, I see a little bit of Kutcher in Jobs, especially in his younger years, so I’m not totally going to slam the casting, I just think Jobs deserves better, like SONY’s Steve Jobs project written by Aaron Sorkin.

JOBS is set to begin production in May when Kutcher is on hiatus from TWO AND A HALF MEN.
