Alanis Morissette Drops First Single in Four Years – Guardian

‘Guardian’ has hit the web via a lyric video (side note: when did lyric videos become the must-have marketing tool for every artist?) today giving fans their first listen at what sounds like a return to Morissette’s work in the 1990s. The song will be available to download on iTunes on May 15th.
‘Guardian’ will be the first single off her Morissette’s Guy Sigsworth-produced album “Havoc and Bright Lights” due out on August 28th.
